In The Black is an hardcore science-fueled online space combat simulator developed by Impeller Studios that was formerly called Starfighter Inc. Gameplay is laser focused on combat, and everything in the game is researched and designed in consultation with aerospace engineers and space scientists in order to create the most most exciting hard science fiction based cockpit shooter ever made. Players will pilot a variety of nuclear-powered space fighters, from tiny point defense interceptors, to super heavy strike fighters and assault transports. The ships and weapons can all be upgraded. In The Black immerses players in a gorgeous, cinematic, VR-enabled space simulator set in our own solar system 200 years from now. Game modes include single-player and cooperative PvE missions, as well as a variety of team-based PvP scenarios.
